Who We Are

Trevor Heath, Founder/Executive Director

Trevor is a licensed pilot from Richmond, VA and holds a degree in Communication Studies, Public Relations from Longwood University. He has logged hours in numerous aircraft including single-engine trainers, turbo-props, and small twin-engine jets. Trevor founded Young Aviators in late 2018 to help inspire youth to consider aviation as a career field and to provide a resource for career mentorship and education. He aspires to hold a career in airport management and devote his time to giving back to the community.

Michael “Tyler” Clark, Executive VP

Tyler became interested in aviation at a young age when listening to stories from his grandfather who was in the Air Force. He is currently working on a degree in Unmanned Aerial Systems Operations at Liberty University along with obtaining his pilot’s license. Tyler plans to educate and inspire youth to become interested in aviation and will focus on unmanned aerial systems along with running Young Aviators.

Favorite Aircraft: P51 Mustang


Tyler Paquette, VP Finance

Tyler has been passionate about aviation and becoming a pilot since his childhood. He is currently a Junior at VCU, receiving a degree in Commercial Real Estate and working on his Private pilot license. He plans to become a Certified Flight Instructor in the next few years and eventually land a career with a corporate or charter operation, but has not ruled out flying for a major airline later into his career.

Favorite Aircraft: Concorde


Harrison Roth, VP Regulatory Compliance

Harrison has always been interested in flying since he was younger and has aspirations of flying for a major US airline in the very near future. He currently holds his Commercial Multi-engine certificate and Instrument rating, and recently became a Certified Flight Instructor. Harrison is a Republic Airways Cadet and hopes to be hired on as a First Officer within the upcoming two years. He hopes to use his aviation skills to inspire and teach the next generation of pilots and enthusiasts through Young Aviators and his everyday life.

Cade Glass, VP Social Media

Cade has always had an interest in aviation and began his professional aviation career in 2017. He hopes to obtain his private pilot license before graduating high school and plans on attending an aviation university for the remainder of his training. Since joining Young Aviators in early 2019, Cade has served as VP Social Media and hopes to further the organization as the youngest member on the Board of Directors.

Chase Rogers, VP Business Development

Chase Rogers

Chase has always dreamed of becoming a pilot since his early childhood. He currently attends Delaware State University and has a Commercial-Instrument rating. Chase hopes to inspire the future generation of professional pilots and help develop Young Aviators into a national aviation non-profit.

Harrison Newman, VP Public Relations

Harrison is a student at Liberty University working towards a degree in Commercial/Corporate Aviation. After he graduates, Harrison plans to begin a career as a commercial airline pilot. His aviation career started in August 2017 when he began working on his private pilot license. He has since added an instrument rating and UPRT endorsement (spin recovery). Harrison hopes to help build Young Aviators into a well-known organization within the aviation industry.

Logan Bechtler, VP Project Management

Logan is an Aeronautical Science Sophomore at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. He plans to graduate and spend his career flying for a major airline in the US. Logan plans to use his skills in aviation to inspire future pilots and to advocate for aviation careers through Young Aviators.

Hunter Melton, VP Member Relations

Hunter, a recent high school graduate and commercial-multi pilot, has aspirations of flying for a major airline and starting an aircraft management company. Hunter is an avid aviation enthusiast and enjoys bringing new people into the aviation community. He also spends a large amount of his time attending aviation events and helping the industry grow.

Rishi Patel, Web Designer / Founder of Learn From the Ground Up

Rishi is an aspiring aviator with hopes of entering the aviation industry with a wealth of airman knowledge. His interests range from flying to aircraft design to the airline industry, and more. He fell in love with airplanes after his earliest memory of takeoff, in which he describes the experience absolutely exhilarating. He is proud to serve the aviation community with his initiative Learn From the Ground Up, in which he created free, modular courses that teach a variety of ground-school topics. He is also excited to work with Young Aviators, Inc. to accomplish the same goal. He will attend Virginia Tech in the fall to pursue aerospace engineering.
